Incredibly slow today

Users across social media are reporting slowdowns in Youtube loading time and frequent rebuffering of videos they are trying to watch. I tried a traceroute and got only 11 hops and a ping time of around 27ms, but its very tedious to try and watch anything on there currently. Feel free to comment if you are having similar problems.

I'm having the same issue. My internet connection is working just fine. All other videos from different sites are working correctly. Youtube plays about 3 seconds of a 3:00 minute video and then buffers.

So slow that I tested my down speed: about 400 kbps dropping to 0 kbps and spiking up after 10 seconds of buffering, rinse and repeat. Max download speed for today: 60 Kilobytes per second. How the hell can I watch anything with that, even 240p doesn't buffer properly at that speed.

I am at 13 Mbit down on speed test and all other sites are running well. YouTube is dog slow today, however.

Any music video that I watch will just stop randomly playing (not buffering because there is no spinning wheel) for about a few seconds, and start playing again. This happens about 4 or 5 times during the video, and I noticed it started happening last week. I was using Google Chrome, and tried IE9 today to see if there was difference, but there wasn't. Did the same thing. So it's not my browsers. What's going on?
