I received the same error codes yesterday, 8-19, trying to send money to the Philippines. I kept going lower all the way to $20 and got the same error codes. I can't seem to find what the limits are.
For 2 days now I am trying to send mony to Peru. Every time I get the message: "Technical Error,Try again later" The messages contains the error codes 2201 and R8024. I tried several computers, mobile phones, dfferent browers, diffent operating systems, different networks (work, home, 4G). With VPN without VPN. Same result: "Try again later, later, later......"
From 2 months I faced the same problem with r1136 ERROR..!!!
And western union not answering or solved!!
I tried to send money to Peru and the local Western Union office. I was told Western Union will not allow the transaction and was given the error code R1340. What does this code mean. The lady at the counter could not tell me.

well same to me. i got this error several times. i'm stranded in the Philippines and this is the way to send money from germany. i try also several operationsystems,,rowser and also VPN. all doesn't. work. to complain to WU is sensless. you need an transaktionnummer which i do not get because the error apear befor the transaktionnumber is generated. complain with older transaktionnumbers works , but even if i tell them that i use the number only for my concern regarding the error C2201. the tell me the transaktion is done. yes yes yes. I us WU since 3 Years. this problem appear for me the last 3 Month.
I sent money to a friend in Colombia, no problem at all. I then tried to send to Philippines and it wouldn't let me. From looking at the comments is send Wu had a problem with Philippines and Peru specifically. One would think they would care enough to fix the problem but it looks like it's gone on for a long long time.

I will never use them again, because all Customer Service would say is, I've exceeded my sending limit, and to go to a location of W/U and send it.
Other apps will do the same, without the hassle.

Same problem. WU: Error code c2201. I send money to the Philippines regularly, for foods, medicals, rent, student support. All legal, above board and im not doing anything wrong. Why am i blocked?
