Tried multiple times to book with rewards and pay the difference but not accepting credit card payments

Tried 2 times with 2 different reps and was told the same thing. The credit cards were not accepted to pay the difference between redeemed points and the total points needed to be purchased. Called the Wells Fargo VISA customer svc and they said there were not issues. Tried using my BofA VISA and the same thing happened. I was told they opened a ticket and it would be 10 days to resolve the issue. In the meantime the tickets I wanted and the seats I chose and price I paid will all change and not for the better. Very upset with Wells Fargo Rewards, the bank and the credit card.......
