USPS click-n-ship label processing won't advance to the step where the service and packaging selection is made.

After clicking on the "select service and packaging" button the propgram goes into the "processing" mode for about twenty seconds, then goes right back to the  originating page. Never gets to the sercice and packaging list. No warning or error notice is displayed, not even a "try again".
