I have been trying to create an international label for two days. Everytime I try to upload the product details I get the message that USPS has encountered an "Unexpected Error" and it won't let me create the label.

Same, enter all info to create label then error at top of page 'An unexpected error has occurred. Please try refreshing the page.' In package type says ' 'You have made changes to your label information that require rates to be recalculated, please click the button below once all of your changes are completed.
Nothing has been changed and if I re-enter the info nothing else happens. Have tried in 3 different updated browsers and has been happening for 2 days. Would like to create a shipping label. I am also receiving the same error message when trying to create a customs form.
Just found through another comment. Try removing any special characters. This seems to work and get through to payment screen.
This is redicuoulous. I did this and it finally worked. If your going to create a website why not test it to see what characters don't work and fix it or put a note stating what characters not to use.
ISSUE RESOLVED! Removing special characters did the trick. I have a plus sign (+) in my company name. Removed it from my company name and replaced it with "and" instead - shipping label was created with no issues at all. Thank you Anonymous2!

Ive spent two days trying to print a label. When I click "Add to Cart" I get the following message: "An unexpected error has occored. Please try refreshing the page." Refreshing the page seems to mean start over from the beginning. I have looked at other complaints from frustrated users and some of them had found relief by removing special characters. I don't think I have any special characters in my shippiing address. Once I restarted my computer and got as far as the payment info page before I got the same error message. Now, restarting has no effect. I am using an iMac computer running OS Mojave 10.14.6 and Safari browser version 13.1.1
Any help would be appreciated.

I have been trying to create a lable for the past two days and also get the "unexpected error" jargon. I do not have any special characters in any part of my addresses. Have folks found any other ways to fix this?
You need a valid US address even if you are shipping abroad.
This came up as the top result in a Google search for this issue, so I am putting what helped me here. If you accidentally input something in the "Reference Number" box, try clearing that box. (My iPhone autocomplete accidentally put my address in that box, which caused the "unexpected error" message.)
Still not working. I've removed all special characters from the address, and kept reference field empty. Prime example of a government website not getting its act together.
