Unable to log in/website log in down

When I try to log in to the People's United Bank app on the cell phone with my correct credentials, a notification pops up on the screen displaying: "Attention: We are currently unable to process your request." With that, I went to the main website on my PC to check if maybe it was just my phone acting buggy; when I tried logging in 2-3 times on my PC, the message on the website displayed that the website is currently experiencing an 'internalized server error' and cannot process my request to login. It's a "500 Internal Server Error."

The message displayed on the website screen was as followed: 

"The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

I am unsure what is going on but I hope the issue is resolved soon. Thank you.
