site times out

I cannot add anything to my shopping cart - it just times out, regardless of cookies or clearing my browser.  The app times out as well.  The only way I was able to place an order was over the phone with CS, but that may have been amistake because they never email me the confirmation & chat says there is no such order, no name found, etc.  Meanwhile the CHARGE  is on my card.
