Checkout Not Working

Shopping Cart page: input delivery zip code, receive delivery fee, and click "standard delivery checkout." Taken to Billing & Delivery Address page.

Billing & Delivery Address page: input all information correctly. Check confirmation of Privacy Policy box. Click "save and continue to delivery." Taken back to Shopping Cart page.

Shopping Cart page: error message at top in red stating "An unknown error has occurred. Please try again later or contact customer service." Input state & zip code again. Receive delivery fee again. Click "standard delivery checkout" again. Nothing happens. Button appears to be clickable, but nothing happens when clicked on.

Delivery zip code and address are valid; I have had items shipped here before, and the closest IKEA is 45 minutes away. One of the items I want is in high demand, and they only have 2 in stock according to their stocking information. I don't want to drive down there only to find someone has already bought the item I want or that the stock information online isn't correct. I can't use Click & Collect because there must be 5 or more items in stock for that method. I have sent feedback and not heard back.

I spent many frustrating hours trying to find out how to place an order on ikeas website. I used different browsers, different computers, and nothing ever worked for me. I was extremely frustrated because I put off other important things to try and make this work, and by the end of it I farted and had an accident in my shorts. I don't think I will be buying from them again.

Still broken.  Tried two different browsers, same results.  Tried to send them a question about it, but that page is broken too -- the only thing you are allowed to ask questions about is cancelling an order and you can only send the question if you have an order number to cancel.

One would THINK that Ikea might start wondering why their web purchase traffic has gone down.  Maybe they don't actually DO online ordering but just want to pretend?
