Having the same problem aswell
I'm having the same issue. Very Frustrating! I need new furniture soon I will be going elsewhere to get it!
Same issue here - 23rd Feb. Really, to have your ecommerce site down for a month is very poor. bad show ikea!!
still happening - 28th March 2014. Pretty pathetic from a major brand.
Oh great; I got this last night and assumed it was a temporary issue. But reading this thread it looks more like IKEA are a bunch of hopeless idiots who can't run a working website :(
I contacted IKEA through Facebook and they came up with a solution. One of the items in my basket was apparently not orderable online, even though the website said it was. I removed this line item and the order went through.
i got the same problem. Using David's advice, I removed the non-furniture items (duvet, mats) and it went through.
for me the error seem to apear when i chose "Deliver to different address" if i dont choose it, goes through but i dont need it there obviously..
Surprise surprise, it's 2018 - we're supposed to be flying around in jetsons cars and traveling to space on vacation, yet I can't check out and buy a f!*#ing tv stand on Ikea's website. Help me please.
Ha! This problem still exists. What the? How is that possible.

Well, it's Monday and still the same problem ... "An unknown error has occured. Please try again in a little while or contact customer services."
