This seems to be a persistent problem with the IKEA online order system. The thing that worked for me was to log out and place the order as a guest. The only thing that was different on the checkout form was that I didn't have my IKEA Family member number entered. Take that for what you will, but it worked for me.
This worked. Thank you very much. I was also able to manually add the IKEA Family Member number to get the discount.
It won't let me calculate shipping when I log out to check out as guest so can't get any further. Ikea!!!! Tried 3 browsers.
