Mobile App Inaccessible

I cannot access my mobile banking account. Was worried someone may have hacked it after getting a weird iPhone message. I logged into my account from a computer and reset my username and password, uninstalled and reinstalled my mobile app, and keep getting a message that my request cannot be completed because I have no connection (despite having connection).
