I have the same error. Annoying, is it something to do with the outlook/hotmail update?

this is very annoying... i got very important messages to read and reply to... why should this happen today? very disappointed with microsoft recently...

I have the same problem... I'm switching to gmail as soon as the server problems are fixed...
Apart from "service unavailable" issue, I found that in recent days, msn website causes flash player to crash. I tried the site with different computers, it is a problem with their website. After all these outlook upgrades, it looks like msn is in a mess in terms of software.
It works on my iphone but not on any of my web-browsers on my laptop

Eventually got in to Outlook but only after a long delay and another "service not available".
This really isn't good enough - why don't Microsoft test things out?
