Keep getting "Unable to save billing record"

I've been a Groupon member for several years.  I'm trying to add a new bank card to my Groupon account and it keeps giving the following error message: Unable to saving billing record.  I activated the card as soon as I received a month ago.  Is the site down?  Why am I getting that message?  Please help.
