Can't message anyone

I was on Messenger, and it all of a sudden stopped letting me message anyone. I was still getting a few messages from other people, but I couldn't reply. Yes, my WiFi was working. I tried YouTube and it was fine. I assumed Messenger was just messed up and tried another device. But it wouldn't let me open messages. I tried my computer to see if the moblie Facebook was messed up, but even the web wouldn't let me message. I'm really sad. Also, this is happening to some of my friends as well.
