got the same message on 5/6/2012.

was browsing listings on ebay and just got this. weird thing was it started loading listings in Chinese?? WTF

I also have been having this problem after shopping on ebay and being directed to a site with Chinese writing. 5/22/12. I still can't get on ebay.

Same issue here. Has been happening for the last few months off and on. Closing certain processes has fix this a few times, but it is starting to get on my nerves. I'm guessing it may be a virus, but I can't be sure.

I am also having this problem off and on and especially right now. Im on mac osx so i doubt its a virus.

This is an ongoing issue and is completely random. We're about to drop our trash ISP century link for R.R. Will post here again in a month with results.

Yep, have had this happen a few times as well. Not sure how to fix this. I have dumped all my history/cache/cookies etc, restarted.. nothing. Noone has a clue huh?

When this happens to me I just switch over to http://global.ebay.com/ and go from there till things go back to normal or something. :) works for me.

I am denied access to Ebay, some Chinese wording came out. What should I do?

Same thing happen to me. I am in China and I saw some English character and then it forbid me.... LOL, it the other way around, I am getting the same error too. So clear you browser cookies, open CMD and type: ipcongif /flushdns , then restart you computer and restart your modem by unplugging it and plugging it back on. This worked for me.

Having issue of browsing , then getting Chinese characters then forbidden. same issue as above. Called ebay, no help there! Dumped cookies, cleared browsing history, reset router, even tried the Global Ebay site, still getting the forbidden message

Yeah, same problem here, eBay plays dumb to it like they have never heard of it if you try to contact them about it. I have to disconnect from the internet, clear all history, reconnect and go back to eBay before it will work and even then its 50/50 chance of working, often have to restart computer altogether. so sick of it !

This only happens on ebay, its an ebay bug, there too incompetent to fix it

This is happening on all our devices that are on my network, apart from my mobile if you use 4g, I dont understand why it is just happening to ebay and not any other websites, so frustrating as there is nothing on the internet of how this can be fixed.
