Delta site down

I've been trying to login to my Delta skymiles acct, check in for a flight and book other flights.  The site appears to be down on these functions - however, when you attempt it just indicates you are putting in - invalid information, or send you to login to your skymiles acct.  Would be nice if they just put up a message saying the site is down.
