CrashPlan Central down for >8 hours now --- still waiting for connection

I seriously doubt tha Sandy is effecting Crashplan. They have data centers in a few locations, but they are primarily based in Minneapolis, MN. Besides, while Sandy is somewhat historic for the region, it would be rather embarrassing if, A: a level-1 hurricane could knock out something that's designed to protect your data in case of exactly such disasters, and B: anyone would dare put a high-priority data center anywhere near the ocean. I also cannot upload to CrashPlan Central. I do hope they resolve it soon, whatever the cause.
