Can't connect to CrashPlan Central to do backup

Initial backup ran from 8am 10/31/2012 until approx 3:30am 11/01/2012 - and has been unable to connect since. I'm in trail mode - not a good sign. I understand Hurricane Sandy may be playing a part - but it's not a good sign when a disaster recovery site shuts down during an actual disaster.

Sandy is just a coincidence (an annoying one for them, surely). I mean, who would put a data center near the ocean? Not Crashplan anyway, they're in Minneapolis, MN.
