It won't let me go on pinterest site

it asked me to download update mine would not support it I needed a ios7 I think it said. I havent been able to download update for sometime but I put no and it let's me keep using it today it wouldn't let me and now when I push the pinterest icon it goes black and then back to the app page. I miss it so badly
