Sluggish then red light on modem

Office Uverse very slow- couldn't even email an important document. called service and technician did a great job. He solution resulted in modem getting a red light and internet totally out. Now must wait for service tech to come to office to "fix" uverse. This is worst internet ever. I should never have changed my office DSL to this.
