disconnected, retrying in <1 minute

Crashplan Central seems to be down / offline (greyed out circle icon) as any settings of software (program & service), OS, networking, firewall just won't cut it.
It just doesn't want to connect to crashplan central (dfb-atl.crashplan.com server) in any circumstance for about 12h now !
The retry button is useless also ...
The restore is not working both from the program and from the website.
Please fix this by at least a response as to why this is happening (normal routine or not) and when will it be solved. Also it would be very nice to know how to avoid such "surprises" in the future - maybe an warning / message in the email before this kind of events.
Thank-you and I'm eagerly awaiting to resume my back-up.
