Unable to connect to email on line - times out

Can go to Google, Yahoo, etc BUT when attempting to log onto my Comcast account using my computer connected to Comcast it times out almost 100% of the time. This had been an issue for over 2 years and I have reported it to Comcast several times and it still has not been fixed. Have rebooted modem, etc but nothing helps.
