Capital One - Rep confirmed site down --- no estimate for restore!!

1/23/13 11:20am (Eastern Time) --- Contacted Capital One by phone. (NOTE: used phone number provided by gethuman.com --- excellent resource; got through to Cust Svc immediately without any hold!!)
I told Cap One Rep that I had been trying to access website for the last 18 hours. She confirmed that the website is down because they are doing a "rebuild". I asked if they had an estimate for restoration of the website. She responded, "We have no idea."
Incredible! How can this company survive?!! (Maybe through their excessive fees!)
