Truist Mobile App Freezes after update

After mobile app update (1.6.0) the app freezes. My iPhone is just a few months old and has the most receint iOS. Did not update the app on my iPad and it works fine but the updated app on my iPhone just freezes. Tried uninstalling and reinstall and no better.
