Consistently NOT able to use website to research availability or rates

Since the summer, as I have tried to research stays in various locations in different states on different dates, I have consistently received the message "OOPS... " with a statement to call for reservations.  This would be ok if I already knew exactly where I wanted to stay but is not useful when I need to view locations to events, access to restaurants, etc. and have the ability to compare local options within the Hilton family.  This is impossible to manage talking with someone over the phone.  Why isn't your website working? Or is there something I can do differently to get what I need for planning trips?
