All Zions Bank online services including iOS, and other operating systems are being affected including webpages. I do not work for Zions but I have extensive service knowledge in server backgrounds and what is happening could be two things. Number one, Zions is updating all information and adding features so customers may use more options online instead of having to go directly to a banking site, This does make sense with the COVID-19 virus and protecting those that work there and also those that come in to do their business with Zions and this is the fault of their own and I look at this as protection for all of us which shows a great responsibility that they are taking. Number two, the site has been Completely overloaded by many individuals trying to check to see if their stimulus checks have been deposited directly into their accounts, one thousands of people at the same time are doing the same thing it will overwhelm even the best servers, understand this is a temporary issue and I’m sure that they’re working on this diligently to render service back to their customers, always remember that all of us are going through something that we’ve never been through before, things will come back online when servers are rebooted patches are added and I’ll limit is put all on how many people can access the site at one time instead of thousands at one time. “ Look at it this way, you invite 10 people over for a party and 500 come over and you do not have the facilities or the stock to keep these people happy, nor were you were expecting this to ever happen so it’s a good Way of understanding that we don’t know what’s going to happen from one day to the next, but all of us are learning from not only Zion site but other major sites that we order from that are completely out of stock we have to wait and we’re not used to that, but this is what reality is now” I promise you I’m not making excuses for Zions Bank, I do not work for Zions Bank, but I do have many years of service in the IT field of computer technology to understand what could be happening and the information that I gave in the two examples above may not even be part of what the problem is but Patients will prevail.
