Buffering Issues

Every 15-20 minutes, any show I watch freezes, buffers, the screen goes black and an error message pops up. I click "OK" and go back to the main show screen, click "resume" and things go on again for another 15-20 minutes and we repeat the whole thing again. If I try to exit out before this process completes, the system doesn't remember where I left off. I have Comcast cable and a Samsung Smart TV. I've streamed Netfilx, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Disney, with no problems. It doesn't matter whether it is in the middle of the night or during the day. It is annoying.
