etrade is down 10/31/2012 12:04AM PST. Many website monitoring services are "drone-like" without anything close to human intelligence. Even if those drone-like automated HTTP requests were responded with ip packet, it doesn't mean it is up, because the responded content needs to be analyzed at minimum. The following HTTP Status 404 message is what I received. It is not running.
