FedEx Tracking Down

I called FedEx about my package because I wanted to ask about rescheduling or holding my delivery for pickup.  They said tracking had been down since last night and advised me to call back around 2pm PST.  They could not reschedule or hold my delivery as requested.  However, the customer service rep confirmed that all the trucks were still moving.  In light of the uncertainty, I worked from home today in case my package came and I needed to sign for it.  Indeed, my package was just delivered a few minutes ago, a day ahead of the last date I saw scheduled on the FedEx Tracking Website before it went down.  From my experience, even though tracking is down, packages may arrive unexpectedly.
