Won't load Designated Survivor on Apple TV or Amazon Fire

We tried watching the latest Designated Survivor on ABC app (all day we've tried)... on an appe tv and also the Amazon Fire and both give me the error code EI501. Tried logging out and then re-authenticating. When we do, it accepts the code and says we are good to watch, but then goes to this Error screen instead of playing the episode. Very frustrating!!
