Unable to connect and emails bounce back

Hi - we use http://zimbra.protectedservice.net/ for our company emails
I haven't been able to log in today. error message is: unable to connect
However, I tried sending an email to our email address (using my private email) and it has also bounced back saying
Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.

Could someone please help - and tell me what might be going on.
