Cannot send emails

Cannot send emails on two different computers with different Comcast accounts. Have checked email settings, powered down compters and reset cable modem with no success. Error messages are "Outlook unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server". Can receive emails fine, just cannot send emails since Friday March 22

also cnnot send mail. tried port 587, 995, 465. now back to 25.

They updated security requirements without announcing it. You can't use port 25 anymore, and you need to enable authentication with your username&password http://customer.comcast.com/help-and-support/internet/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email/
