Can access email, but cant open

Log onto internet using Windows & internet Explorer(as I have sine having internet with Comcast)to my Comcast Homepage. Logged into email and it opens, but I cant access any emails. No changes were made to the computer at all. Is there a credit for not being able to use a service I most grossly overpay for ??
