When I try to log in to the Ucard center I get "We are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later." This has been going on for 3 weeks after My registration.
Tiffany on
Me too.....been trying for over 3 weeks & I need this information for a loan. They will not process my loan until I have a statement. This is riduculous. I've called the 800 # on the back of my card & a woman told me that they were merging a bunch of accounts into this new system (U Card) and to just keep trying. It needs to be fixed NOW. This is insane. Anyone had any luck getting info from some other source? I need to get this resolved quickly. Thanks! Tiffany

What app?

what app ive tried finding but no luck??
Robert on
I'm in a similar situation, I need a statement like the one Chase.com gives for checking accounts so I can modify my loan. I've tried the 800 # on the back of my card but cannot reach a human. I've printed the online activity out but the bank wont accept it. Please let me know if there is a way around this. Thanks Robert
Kathleen on
It's still going on, and now it is almost April of 2013. I can't even register an "old" card. They don't have my info. recorded correctly. I can't reach anyone to tell them about it.
Michael on
Same here.
kachi on
the same with me, i been checking in for few weeks now and the same message appearing again and again "We are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later." i can't login now to the old ebt account and this new one. Chase ucard EBT is not working, can you fix it please.
HAVING SAME ISSUE DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY HAD TO GO CHANGE IT
Brandon M. Sergent on
You'll notice that if you put in your password wrong the error message changes, so we know the login system is actually at some root level working.
Darlene on
I have tried this site 3 times...I keep entering same info over and over....and when done finally....it says try again later. Please can you fix.
Jay on
I've had the same results as Bob, Michael, kachi, & Darlene -- and probably quite a few others who've never heard of this website! In case anyone hasn't tried calling the UCard "Customer Service" number yet, don't waste your time: it's a human-free zone, with a clumsy menu system that manages to state at great length what you already know and have tried. So I tried visiting an actual Chase bank today and came away with the news that the UCard Center isn't actually a Chase product/service (coulda fooled me!) but rather something Chase "hosts" for the UCard folks, who operate independently. (Images of some cramped, windowless office, stuffed with servers and pizza boxes....) Anyhow, that's all the insight I could get via THAT route -- again, nothing helpful. This from the same [mis]administration that brought us the CityTime scandal. But hey, we're merely poor folk, and the Sun King's attention is elsewhere occupied. Good luck!

i too have been trying to register on ucard keeps telling me wrong date of birth and the phone # to call for help endless chatter no help
Karen on
I am having the same problem. Getting stopped at the page that asks for your date of birth. The error I keep getting is "We are unable to validate your identity. Please check your information and try again. If you need assistance contact Customer Service at 866-645-3111." The number is a robot with no option to speak to a customer representative. If you wait long enough, you'll get "Sorry you are having difficulties. Goodbye!" It's almost funny.
Miranda on
I too have tried to load the site to no avail. I have tried many times on different days and apparently it hasn't been working ever since it supposedly started, at least with me anyways...
richard on
what is going on with this site?? i thought this change was suppose to be better.
Jason on
why isn't this site working? I have no way to call right now and i need to check my balance. The other site never worked either, i was able to register my card no problem and validate my email address and everything but it keeps telling me to try again later.

Same problem. The old site was ugly, but at least it worked. Mostly. The new UCARD site is pretty but doesn't work at all. I had the old site call us with an "immediate" notice when a deposit was made, but it would take over 24 hours to notify us.
brandon on
How about you guys get your heads out of your a!*es and get your site f!*#ing working before you launch it?

so annoying!!! I wish it worked

I experienced the same problem... stumbled upon this thread and quickly realized I was not alone. I, too, tried calling the bogus automated customer service line. It advised me to use internet explorer, which I tried against my better judgement. I can expect problems in chrome from time to time, but I've never had any trouble at all with firefox. But as advised, I took a shot with IE and was still running into the same problem. I even purposely entered the wrong password to see if the error message would change, which it did... so that gave me some hope. I have an older Chase pay card and used to access account info via a different URL (myaccount.chase.com) than "ucard" so I ended up calling the number listed on the back of my card, rather than the number provided by ucard. It is also an automated service, but you CAN get through to an actual human! If anyone needs that number, it's 1.866.399.2976. I was told to go to Internet Explorer, yet again and to type the URL directly, rather than going through a search engine. This is a general practice to follow at all times anyway... accessing through search engines could open you up to phishing and other security risks. I can only assume it was just sound advise on his end. I can't imagine that it's performance would be dependent on traffic source... but again, direct is a safer bet anyway. ALWAYS verify SSL certificates! That is one big advantage of the migration to ucard, because the old site lacked encryption of extremely important data. I had done the exact same thing on my first [unsuccessful] attempt with IE. For whatever reason, it FINALLY worked! I was FINALLY able to get through! Since I had already attempted the same thing multiple times in multiple browsers, I can't imagine that the error solved itself organically during my brief conversation with customer support... especially since this thread is seemingly ongoing and widespread. So, use internet explorer (I'm guessing 9 is your best bet, but some earlier versions may be alright) Type the URL directly If that doesn't work, definitely give them a call. It didn't work for me on my first attempt(s), but i was able to access before even hanging up the phone with customer support. I got so caught up that I almost forgot to come back to this thread! Today was the first time I had been on this site and I did find a little comfort in knowing that I wasn't the ONLY one having this problem! I hope my input can be of help to everyone else!
KLM on
It worked for me by typing it directly into the browser instead of going from a search engine. Thanks for the help ...because I really did not want to call.

We were talking about unable to login, not having the trouble loading the website dumbass

Jessica, you are a LIFE SAVER! My purse and ch supp card were stolen, I couldn't find ANY number to reach Chase's Ucard Center dept. I've been trying for about a week. 1.866.399.2976.totally helped, they cancelled my card and I'm writing a statement now. Thanks SOOOO much!
Chase on
Still not working. Thanks for nothing.
Virginia on
The problem is the same and I don't understand with the big company like Chase, how can it not work for majority of the people and the problem is the same. Is this a scam or what?
Mike T on
FYI - Spoke with a Web Site Supervisor and she told me that even though my card worked with the old site and even though I was able to register with the new site that the reason why I cannot log in after registration is that my card number is too new and that people with account numbers 6 months or newer were not transferred over to the new database. How this makes sense I do not know. Maybe their webmaster never worked on a computer before they got this contract but that they know about the problem and are slowly including the new accounts into the database. Sounds like a government contract but she did sent in an e-mail request with my account # and that I should try back in a week. Good Luck.
jessica on
Once you do get in, the transaction detail is a giant clusterfu*k (although possibly due to timing and irregular holiday 'posting' schedules). Either way, it's the whole thing is a tragic excuse for a bank account alternative as they managed to complicate a simple concept. And how did they fail to migrate such a large number of accounts? A monthly database export would be more reasonable... I understand the accounts are constantly being created and a daily export would be tedious... but 6 months, really? Does not work in Chrome Browser. They recommend IE... but I was finally able to get it to work in Firefox as well! They still need to get their s!*t together for sure, but I'm happy to see the 'https upgrade!' I always did feel a little uneasy about the old site lacking SSL encryption.
KLM on
I did what Jessica said today by typing https://ucard.chase.com directly into brower and it worked. I used CHROME as well. Try it!
Jennifer on
The specified URL cannot be found is my error
Kathleen on
Hi Jennifer, I just tried the URL again, and it works for me. Perhaps there is a problem in your security settings or with your Internet service provider. I got to the URL just fine, but can't get their website input forms to work properly.

Had troubles like everyone else. Do not have computer so I have to use my iPhone for access. I had some trouble with the old site but this new site is totally impossible to get in. Please help as this is the only way I can check my balances and to verify when deposits are made. Btw-someone else used my phone and was able to access their account so it is not the phone itself.
Tiggerchan on
I have tried on Firefox and IE and still get the unable to process your request please try again later, it's very frustrating and it makes me angry that they changed the site and now I'm unable to find out when my money is deposited so i can go out and buy food without just running the card and hoping it's there otherwise it's highly embarrassing when it's not and you try to run it.

Had the same problem trying to create an account with an EBT card. I took the advice and called Chase customer service and spoke with a very nice customer service rep. She said yes they are aware that the new site is having issues. She recommended that before I sign up that I change my PIN number to my EBT card first. This has to be done with the government agency that issued the card. It's usually an automated process over the phone. Took me a few minutes to change the pin. Once you have the new pin, go back to the www.ucard.chase.com url and try and register again. When it asks for the new pin, put the pin you just created. In my case, as soon as I started to register the site recognized me and registration was easy. The new site is not that bad but is definitely a work in progress. Hope this helps.
tomseys on
Just to clarify, to change the PIN of your EBT card, you would need to call the customer service number on the back of the EBT card. From there you just follow the automated prompts. Once you have the changed the PIN (Note: this will also be the new PIN that you use whenever you use the card), then try and register again, using that PIN as the PIN that is asked for. This worked for me. Good Luck.

This is a follow up to my previous post. I have spoken to (second time)a Supervisor at the EBT Website Service. They are the company hired by Chase and responsible for all of the above issues. The # on the back of your card can only give you balances and cannot truly resolve these issues so do not brother with them. Call this person instead: 866-352-5878. She was very nice and informative who could confirm that my account does exist but not on their (new) web site database. Again she said that all accounts from Sept on have not been transfer over and this process could take months. She has tried to resolve my situation manually but to no avail. So do not expect this problem to be fixed till Easter. Good Luck.
Karen on
Mike, Thank you for the follow-up. It has been very helpful. I think I will start calling the automated system for account balances instead. I will not be following this thread anymore, in case anyone responds below me. Karen
Kathleen on
I called the number you recommended here. They obviously don't want to be contacted- this number is no longer in use and they referred to the automated service number listed on the back of the card. There is no person and the website problems on their end aren't included in their extremely limited list of options. Reporting the problems? I don't think they even want to know about them. Their website doesn't work right, and its all they have given us to use- leaving us out in the dark. Chase bank needs to be held responsible for the actions of the companies they hire. It's one thing to have website problems, and quite another to ignore the problems and the public who has been forced to use them and refuse to even be contacted or have a customer service line. Automated systems recordings- that NOT customer service!
Me on
I was able to get to the website 1/15 at 1:30. A few min before that I would just get the "site unavailable" message. Looks like they may be up for now. They are probably smoothing out some technical glitches.
McNerdius on
Technical glitches my @$$. Two trillion in assets means they can afford to get it right the first time. Unfortunately,as we're seeing, it also means they can afford not to.
Me on
Yup your right. You and I both know that the big fat suits will absorb every penny of profit and let their customers die until their precious "bottom line" suffers. I was in no way making excuses for what is happening. If a company wants to offer stellar glitch free service then they will find a way. This company did not. This seems to be a national epidemic. Companies rake in profits then let their employees and customers rot. The suits should be forced to man the customer service phones for a week.
annoyed on
Same as everyone else, sick of the condescending voice on the other end of the supposed customer service line, cannot get on the site. But who cares, right? We are just poor folks. I am hungry, though, and my rent is due.

The Pennsylvania Chase Morgan UCard Web site is a botched up product which has not worked from the day which it was brought online. I was registered with the previous version of the EBT Web portal and it worked. I've been trying, unsuccessfully to login to the UCard center for over two months and it replies with all sorts of nonsense to a user's login information. I know the username and password I used to register my account but the Web site database does not. Initially I was getting the same nonsensical "We are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later." message which morphed into "Enter valid user ID and password", and last of all I was challenged with a security question which I've never set up so I failed the login. The UCard Web site has never worked as far as I've been able to determine, looking up the issue on the Internet, calling Harrisburg officials connected with Social Services EBT issues, and calling Chase JP Morgan telephone contacts. I was told the same thing from the Chase people that they did not have anything to do with the Chase UCard Web site. Okay, that filled me with comprehension. I am an unemployed computer network engineer and in all my experience I've never seen such a botched up Web site as the UCard portal. I have the feeling that I will secure a job or die before whoever is responsible for the site repairs it.

The Chase u-card site is a joke- only because the site doesn't work, or doesn't accept the correct info i put in it as correct. I have tried many times, with 2 cards. Finally got the first one to work, now the second one will not. I know my birthday! And their phone system recognizes it. Their automated system isn't sufficient. They have no customer service number with a person. I can't find a phone number to reach a person anywhere, not even on the back of the card. So I must come to the conclusion that Chase doesn't care if we can use the site or not, after all, it isn't their money- it's ours. I guess this gives me a reason to never open up a chase bank accout on my own. Word of mouth travels fast, faster then their advertisements and incentives do. If anyone has an answer please let me know.

The old website was perfect, fast, and reliable. This new UCARD website times out 3 out of 4 times. I have to constantly resubmit the request to load a page. It used to take me mere seconds to check up on my account, now it takes half an hour. ALSO.... a lot of the information, such as payment dates, debits, credits, are wrong! Yes, wrong information! Also, missing information!!!! I confirmed this by speaking to a customer service rep. on the phone. I expressed my concerns and frustration about the website, but absolutely nothing has been done about it. I AM NEVER USING CHASE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"UCARD CENTER" is screwed up, and that's being nice to them. It does not reconize my case number, Social Security number or even date of birth. The "hotline" is only slightly better, I call and punch in the case number the automated response then "informs" that the number is not valid even though it is valid, and I have not received any notifications that I needed to see the case worker.

I had the same problem Betsy. There is nothing we can do. The webmaster doesn't want to even know what problems people are going though and evidently the bank doesn't either. There is no contact information, no phone, no e-mail, nothing---no way to report anything. I guess we just can't check anything or use the account online, and with the bank not wanting to handle things with a lot of cards inside the bank- were stuck! That website is absolutely useless.
Betsy on
Thank you.. im lost at this point should i go back to the welfare office and ask them or the bank? or will they both not do anything?
Kathleen on
I tried going into the bank. You have to do everything at the machine. It is a different type of account by a different department of the bank that the tellers don't handle. You can go to the machine and get your balance that way, or you can try calling the welfare offices. When I have called them I have been on hold for an hour and a half or two hours, and then if I take a moment to pick up the phone when they answer they hang up on me, so I would have to start the process all over, so I have given up on contacting them by phone too. I end up driving down there or mailing them a letter by snail-mail. So to date I have just gone to the ATM machine at the bank and get a print-out of my balance. Thankfully they do e-mail me when a deposit has been made. But to go online- or to call them by phone...its worthless, at least where I live.

I went to the Chase Bank ATM to withdraw money from my account and it told me access denied and didn't give me any money but charged my account as though I did get the money.  This happen on Friday the 13th!!!  Customer service told me they had a system update error and that I wasn't the only one it happen to.  They also said give it a couple of hours and the money should be put back on my account.  Needless to say it is Monday afternoon and still no money.  They now say they have to investigate whether I got the money or not (which the ATM Monitoring Group has already verified I didn't) but they will try and contact me within the next 10 days.  I am about to have a nervous breakdown.  This was my money and they stole it!!!  It was my paycheck and I have bills to pay and I need money to live on, but know seems to care and they just keep lying and lying to me.  I don't know what to do????

I have tried to register and activate my card over 6 times with no luck due to pages not loading.  Do I have to use this broke down process, or can I just do the direct deposit?

I used to work for the Tennessee State Government. I was laid off at the end of September and told that my case would be expedited since the TN UI system is in so much shambles. Here it is 2 weeks later and I've not received a payment yet. I keep trying to check, but since I've called more than 4 times, I'm charged for each call. I've tried signing up online to view my account and nothing happens. I've submitted my info 4 or 5 times to sign up online to view and manage my acount. IT STILL DOES NOT WORK!!!

If I don't get my unemployment in the next couple of weeks, and I have been approved, I will sue. The state is breaking Federal law and they have been for the last couple of years. They are purposely making the system hard to work with so people give up trying. This is just another way to artificially deflate the unemployment numbers.

I have found that the ucard.chase.com site is really, really bad. The customer service telephone number gets you into an endless automated menu and never are you offered the option of asking to speak with a representative even though that option is dangled like bait. I succeeded in registering my card and logging on a couple of times on ucard.chase.com, but in spite of what is in the the printed information provided with the card, I cannot transfer the balance to my personal checking account with which to pay my bills. I clicked "one time transfer," the site gave an error message telling me they couldn't process my request and to try again later, locked me onto the error page, and wouldn't let me log off. I even re-booted my computer and now the site will not let me log in. Apparently its little scrambled brain thinks I'm still logged in since it had me in a noose on that stupid error page and wouldn't let me back out or log off. What a hunk of junk. Getting the whole balance out in cash at an ATM is not going to work because it is an odd amount and the last few dollars I will never get except at a gas station where, once I know the exact balance left on my card to the penny I can just click the gas pump until the amount adds up to last few dollars and cents on the card, and spend it that way. Assuming I will ever, ever be able to log on again on the stupid website. Which I doubt.

I have had problems for months now trying to get onto this site.  It doe NOT work, and thw 800 cust service numbers do not work either.  There's no way to get to a live person!!! This is my child support money for my 3 children , and I cant gwt any access to transfer my money to my bank account,  which I've done successfully for a year. The system "out of nowhere" doesn't recognize my user Id and password. I've nevee changed it. So I tried to re register and that doesn't work either. While in the register screen and it prompts to enter your pin, I do so and then it kicks me off and still says it doesn't recognize my user id or password.  I  even tried to have them resend my user and my pw to my email, pretending that I forgot my user and pw (which I did not) and it sent me the exact same pw and user id that I had always had. SO, WHY CANT I ACCESS MY ACCOUNT INORDER FOR ME TO GET MY MONEY TO PAY BILLS WITHAND TAKE CARE OF MY CHILDREN? Im going to call chiod support services and a lawyer today if this site is not working today! They have no right to keep my money! !! Very Irate!  Luckily I have friends that are attorneys!

anyone managed to get this working? every time i try to activate the card by putting the date of birth down it says to call customer service which i do and theres nobody to talk to there.

I'm having the same problem as everyone else trying to logon to the Ucard website.  I have a user ID and password. I don't want to change either of these or my 4 digit code, because I'm sure that will confuse an already damaged system.  With 2 sets of information, who knows what this system might do.  It might cancel my Access card or delete me from the system entirely - or who knows what else. When I try to logon, it seems to recognize my User ID and password, and states that the website has changed - BUT, CHANGED TO WHAT????  No information on this new website. When I entered my name, to add a comment, after the first few letters of my name, it recogized me and completed my name. So, I guess it is aware that I am in the system somewhere. That was encouraging. But, can anyone please help me (you have my e-mail address) locate and access this new website?  HELP!

Miguel on

everyone should just call the phone on the back > type the card number > will give error then will send you to a real person if you still have the problem.  also you can use the number on the back to check for your money amount.

another option is to go to a store that accepts ebt and ask a cashier to check your balance. they will print you a reciept with it.

marilyn on

if you need to speak to someone, call the number on the back of the card and wait for the option to PRESS 1 TO REPORT YOUR CARD LOST OR STOLEN, THEY WILL TRANSFER YOU DIRECTLY TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, IT WILL NOT BE ABOUT A LOST OR STOLEN CARD

Mark on

New activations: Call the number on the back of your EBT card. Select the option for PIN numbers. Change your pin. Go to the UCard website. When you get through the other up-front stuff to where it asks about your PIN, click the use existing pin button. Then proceed on from there.

Yes i am having the same problem, when i activated my card and then called back to set up the text message notify deal, i realized that on my activation i used the wrong number for my home number so i tried to log in to correct it and i cannot log in to ucard at all.   i put in the right info but it gives error that cannot process at this time.   Everything i try to do it tells me that cannot process at this time.   Our tax dollars at work!  NOT

UPDATE:  I wanted to update my previous comment on here.   I received a welcome letter in my email  and then i was able to log in.  I do not know if it was a time factore that i just had to wait for the system to catch up or if the letter had anything to do with it.  But i am now able to log into the site.  However the site does not really like IE11 (internet explorer 11)  the site said not responding 2x and i had to recover the site.  But i did log in...

I have had no luck trying to register and am certainly not inclined to use Chase for any banking purposes, ever.

I finally got through to a live person, thanks to one of the above posts, and she said that I have to use Internet Explorer.  Given the latest security concerns with IE, this really leaves me in a bind.

However, if you are amenable to using IE, apparently it does work.

Ive been trying for a whole  month to register (URL cannot be found), its effing annoying.

chris on

THIS SYSTEM IS HORRIBLE!!!!   The only repsonse I get is "The Specified URL Cannot Be Found."   My card does not work and the number on the back only gives you an automated system, not a live operator.  I've tried www.ucard.chase.com/ in the browser as well as search on numerous search engines. This has been going on for weeks and is completely unacceptable.  Who the hell is making money off of this corrupt and incompetent system?   What a national disgrace. All the numbers provided in this blog have either been disconnected or have nothing to do with Ucard.

1 card I get I can login, no problem. But the other card for 16 bucks a month for food, has not acknowledged me for about a month now. I checked on user ID - it comes up as what it is & then figured maybe my password was changed - so requested change of password, I was sent an email of a temp. password & it Does Not Work - totally waste of my time, so back to call a 800# to check balance.

gothceltgirl on

I was getting the "the website has changed..." BS too. Thank you tony corona for the new website info. I can't believe that there was no info on the 'old' site to inform us of this. Idiots!

gothceltgirl on

I have an additional comment: I've been using this new site, which sucks. You can't go back very far in your EBT purchase history. It will just say that your range cannot be more than 90 days and if it is within those parameters, but is too far back, it just says "no history found". I was searching within this year, I figured surely it would let me see as far back as February or so, but alas, no it doesn't. September is about as far back as I have been able to see. I really don't like this new site at all!
