On fire stick you need a good clean WiFi connection. I run a program I downloaded to my Amazon stick then make sure connections are refreshed with it and Hit the bac button.

Sick of paying for CBS and not beng able to watch it. Error code UVP-1001. Tells me I need an Internet connection. I'm connected to Spectrum and Hulu plays fine but not CBS!!!
I see I'm not the only person to keep getting this error message. I'm trying to watch shows and I pay for a service that tends to not be available. I've just been receiving this error for about 2 weeks now. How long can we expect to have difficulties. Will we be reimbursed for service not used?
I can't ever get through a show without getting this message. It's absolutely ridiculous. I see it's common. Send refunds for this pathetic service!
I ordered CBS All Access in order to be able to stream Survivor episodes, but cannot stream the finale because of UVP-1001 error. Previous episodes stream fine. Very irritating to have to work to avoid spoilers while waiting for this error to be fixed.
This isn’t working on my FireTV either, so I tried it on the XBox & it works!
this error code UVP-1001 is sooooo frustratin. Glad to see it’s not just us. Definitely should get reimbursed if this keeps up. This is crazy. All other apps work fine so it’s not an internet proble.

cbs all access only works about every other day. Error message up 1001 keeps coming up. Prime streaming works fine so it’s not an internet problem. Please help!

I tried to contact CBS Access using the contact info they provide. I got a generic email saying that I was a valued customer but given the numbers of emails they receive they may no be able to get back to me. I have encountered the same error. Sad little cloud icon- yes that makes me feel better- with the error code UVP-1011. This has been happening to me for the better part of a year. If someone pays for a service that person shouldn't have to reboot their device. They didn't hire us as consumer/tech support. I am annoyed.
I have not been able to connect for almost a week. Delete the app and still won't work. How do I fix this problem. I paying for the app please help
Check if you have any ad blocker plugins or firewall up. I disabled my ad blocker plugin and the error message disappeared!
When I turned off my add blocker, error 1001 went away and I can watch now. I turned off for site.

How do you turn off the ad blocker? Looked at the settings for both the fire stick and the CBS channel and could not find where to do this.

Go into settings, then applications, then managed installed applications, then uninstall application hope this helps

Most of the time if I just wait at the error code it goes on to the program.
Can confirm that disabling Ad blocker on the cbs site fixed this for me.
That is what helped me also. Turn off any ad-blockers you have for cbs website. Refresh your page and watch many show episodes for free. :)
I have the same error code uvp-1001. Ad blocker has been disabled and still can't watch anything on demand. If this has been an issue since 2018 why hasn't it been fixed?? I've been using Frndly if this keeps up I'll drop CBS.
