Unable to Transfer to Accounts

Have been trying to transfer money to my son's account to pay his tuition with no success.  Online transfers just loops telling me his account "doesn't exist" and then when I try to re-add it that it "already exists".  Went into the local branch to try to wire the money to him and instead of customer service, was told it cost $35 with no waiver, even with all the network issues.  Resorting to snail mail to send him tuition and will be closing the BoftW accounts as soon as I can access my money again.
