Been this way for a couple of weeks now ... basically Shopsafe is becoming quite useless. BofA please fix this!!!!!!!!!
Me too. And one of my cards has negtive balance. It was something I purchased because I couln't increase the limit, but it shouldn't. Not so safe for shop safe...
3-May-2017 - Yes, I have this problem too. It was working in early April 2017 but as of today the "Increase Limits" link in the ShopSafe window is now missing. BofA please restore this capability !
I have also been noticing this for a week or two. I have a couple numbers whose limits I want to extend, and I have just been waiting and hoping it's a temporary glitch that gets fixed. There just plain isn't any "increase limits" link/button/icon shown any more.
I just reported this on the toll-free number for the ShopSafe team (that I saved from another time somebody at the regular customer service number referred me there) and the person I spoke with said they are aware of the problem and still trying to find the root cause. So at least they do consider it a problem, it wasn't just a decision to remove a feature. He would not give me any estimated time for resolution though. (Makes me wonder how hard it can be!)
8-May-2017 - "Increase Limits" link continues to be missing from ShopSafe.
Since BofA's website doesn't allow you to either chat or send an email to their cutsomer service folks (what year is this, 1990?) I used their Facebook account to send an inquiry about the Shopsafe problems. Later in the day I received a phone call from a Tier I support guy "Bobbie" who said he wasn't aware of any Shopsafe problems and that he wanted to pass me on to their Tech Support line. After about five minutes on hold the Tech Support line person "Esther" informed me that they were aware of the problem, that they didn't have a resolution time, and that the workaround was to create a new Shopsafe number. I suggested that BofA distribute this information to their Tier I support staff so that future calls didn't waste the time of the Tech Support staff. Esther say she'd make a note of this but I didn't get a warm feeling that anything was going to be done to improve communicatiosns.
25-May-2017 - The "Increase ShopSafe Limits" link is fixed as of today. The link is present and works as expected, I updated 2 cards without any issues. Thank you for restoring this important capability.
