I have been getting a 500 service unavailable error on Amazon periodically for over a month. I report it on June 27th or so and have been getting the run around from Amazon ever since. Now they want me to contact my Internet service provider like it is the provider's fault. However, I have two homes, with two different Internet providers and it happens at both houses! I am very frustrated and have started spending my dollars on other sites instead.
Well, I tried Amazon at work. I clicked on the second link in an email I received from Amazon: "NO, YOU DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM" and got the 500 Service unavialable window. So this is yet a third Internet service provider I have tried, a different computer, and a different OS (Windows XP). If they tell me the problem is with me one more time and I will scream!
Amazon is falling apart. Seems like they have outsourced to a rinky-dinky operation that has no clue what they are doing! Bye-bye sales!
