After accessing the app, the ABC logo comes on and the jingle plays, but just as the program starts it shows "General Application Error, 503-2 error." This has been happening for the past several days.

Same for me...deleting and reloading the app didn't work.
happening to me too only with the abc family app which is now freeform...all i want to do i watch chirstmas movies!
