Debit card declined

My card was declined twice at a store and once at a non Wells Fargo atm machine. I went to the bank and was told by one person it was the store and another person said the Wells Fargo system was down.

Saturday, 4/11/15. My debit card was declined at a store. I had sufficient funds in my account. Called the Wells Fargo banker/representative. He said their were two of their servers that were being maintenanced. He said that may be the reason for the decline transaction. Although, it didn't affect EVERYONE. He said problem could last through next evening. Well, I went to a different store within an hour, tried my debit card-it worked without issues. But this morning, I tried using my debit card online. My transaction was once again declined! I had my suspicions the representative wasn't giving me an accurate report of what is really the issue. I am frustrated with the inconvenience of this issue carrrying on randomly without any supporting evidence of this "Server/Maintenance issue".
