Cannot choose Regional Rate boxees for shipment!

I ship using Regional Rate A. There is still no selection for that Package type this morning. They should have been working all night to fix this. Yesterday, it printed up 2 labels without Tracking Numbers. The label said USPS Tracking # None Assigned with a little teeny square Scan bar.  I took the packages to my local post office and they couldn't read a tracking number and wouldn't assign me one without paying for new labels.

I finally figured out how to cancel the messed up labels and it will take 2 weeks to get a refund.

HI Sharon, how did you figure out how to get a refund? The same thing is happening to me and I can't get into my history TO the transactions to cancel manually. So frustrating!!!!!

Hello Christina. They changed it. On the create label page, right above your return address, you will see tabs that read: Shipping History, Preferences etc. Click on Shipping History and scroll down to the label you want a credit for (click on the blue VIEW to the right of it. You will then see where you can request a refund for that label.

Oh my gosh, thank you!!!! That was driving me CRAZY! You'd think when they change features, they would let us know because when they do, it's a whole new learning curve. It's maddening! I really dislike USPS but right now, they are the most economical way to ship compared to Fed Ex or UPS. GAH!!!!

You're welcome. I had to go to their FAQ to figure it out. I like it better now that I know where it is, but it sure wasn't hitting me in the face yesterday on how to do it!

I got through to tech support this morning. The problem started Tuesday and they've been working around the clock since then to get it resolved. They intentionally removed RR Boxes from the PM choices because there's a bug that is causing incorrect labels to be generated. Rather than let people go on paying for labels and getting bad ones and having to make refund requests, USPS elected to remove the option until the problem is fixed. As of 8:45 a.m. ET this morning they have no idea when that will be.

That's a relief! I'm so glad you got through. I guess I'll just be patient then.

Thanks for letting us know Robert. Hopefully they fix this soon. I normally ship 3-5 regional rates a day and this has been frustrating.
