I've had this exact same issue now for the past several weeks. Netflix seems to work on my other game consoles, but has become virtually impossible for me to view on my PS3.
Same here, ever since the 2.18 update. It sticks at loading 25%. I figured out a little work-around (for the PS3), by being able to watch the previous version of netflix. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and when it tells you that you need to update you have to accept, then on the next screen if you hit the back button the old version of Netflix will open and play with no problems.
What I ended doing is I reset both my modem and router, because the same problem started happening on my Xbox 360, and since I did that a couple of days ago, both my PS3 and 360 are running Netflix just fine, or for now anyway.
