No comcast incoming mail delivered since 1pm on 1/4/15.

Using thunderbird as my mail client I am able to send mail but not receive mail.  However, I do receive comast mail when using the browser version.  Checked my incoming & outgoing email settings on thunderbird, and they are in tact.  Killed and restarted thunderbird multiple times, as well as rebooted my desktop.  All to no avail.

What's the status on incoming mail on comcast via a mail client like Thunderbird?  I like to use thunderbird, since I have a lot of file folders & subfolders stored on it and it's easier to navigate on a mail client than the browser version.

Please advise!
