Saying there is an important security message and offering me to check my credit score now

When I type my user name, bank of america site automatically opens a new tab which also has a audo message which says "Important security message". The new website that opens offers to show the credit score from the three companies and also says I have to check my score only today(11/08/2014). Following the link, it asked me my credit card information for a refundable $1 to check my scores. This looks dangerous security issue going on here
