i totally agree, its alot of things that the customers and the main store manager dontt know the goes on, and we disagree with it but we need the job so we know we have to keep working our butts off just so that we can keep our job. i love my job at walmart because is the first job that paid me 9dollars an hour and the store manager kevin is a sweet heart.and i dont let managers or employees or customers cloud my judgement and make me feel uncomfortable. yet is hard , i do my best to work work work, and they expect so much, however when you have an issue or need help you need to be careful how you go about communicating it and you have to stay persistent without being nagging. because thats how managemnt makes you feel. i feel that sam walton started an amazing business, however is only a few that live by those principles and or rules, and i feel that certain people deserve credit they arent getting. when ever associates try and find the store manager other managers will try and block you from getting to that store manager, almost intimidating. alot of times the store manager does not know all of what goes on. im not so sure about that open door policy. however i will continue to keep working hard and hopefully walmart manager start communicating better and more proffesionally with their employees and remeber we are all human and we all contribute to the succes and upkeep of this company. all walmart stores should close down one day every 3months and have all associates and managers come in were we all can freely speak our minds and respectfully confront situations and it all be in confidence, to better our communication our respect and no secrets.
