Can't send e-mail, 2/8,2/9 and2/7 couldn't receive e-mail

this problem has been going on since 2/7/16 first couldn't receive email, then it started working then I couldn't send email all day 2/10 still not working 2/11 worked for maybe an hour or so but then off again, other internet services and t.v. All o.k. Just issue with e-mail. Get message says the user name or password for SMTP:1g_byer@smtpcomcast.net is incorrect checked settings changed passwords on 2/7 after issues started neither new or old password work if changed in settings
