Comcast POP3 Server STILL DOWN since NOV12

Comcast POP3 Server down since Nov 12 (today in Nov 18), so I cannot retrieve email through my gmail account. Called Comast and they did confirm their server is down. No report when it will be fixed.
This continues and I will abandon my comcast account and switch everything to gmail Gmail originally a backkup for Comcast.net. Glad I did that!
