Server slow/lagging and internet intermittent

Denver area: Comcast servers down but not reported/updated on website. Internet connection intermittent. No amount of modem resets resolve issue. Cannot gain access to comcast.net. Tech support verified no outages in area and my speed maxed out (when intermittently connected).
