difficulty logging on, get booted off

I have been having difficulty signing on. The site will (eventually) acknowledge my sign in credentials, but the second I click on a link to transfer money or somerthing, it kicks me off and says my session has expired when I've only been on for 10 second.
Has the site been hijacked?
