I cannot send or receive e-mail

Here is the error that shows up:

Unable to send or receive messages for the mail.comcast.net account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

It has been like this for several days.

I'm getting the exact same thing as well.

Plus it keeps trying to redownload messages that are already downloaded and even marked as ready.

I get that exact same error message constantly.
